By following this tutorial, you will be able to receive Facebook notifications as SMS on your mobile phone.
This service is only available to Ncell users and would cost Rs. 30 (33.4 inc. tax) per month.
First of all, you will need to activate SMS To Email service provided by Ncell. With it, you'll get Email to SMS service for free too. As mentioned earlier this service would cost around Rs 33.4 per month. Click here to learn how to activate/deactivate the service.
You will need to go to your Facebook profile and add a new email address. Enter your email address like this :
977YourNcellNumber@sms.ncell.com.np
Change YourNcellNumber above to reflect your own Ncell mobile number and click on Save Changes.

After that, an SMS with a confirmation link will be sent to your Ncell number. Either, note down the confirmation link on a piece of paper and open it through your Computer or just open the link on your Mobile Phone. Your email address will now be confirmed. Then, head over to your Facebook account settings and set that email address (i.e. 977YourNcellNumber@sms.ncell.com.np) as your primary email. That's it.
Now onwards, you will receive Facebook Notifications in your mobile as an SMS. You can control the Notifications settings by following the Account settings link.

Update : Although Ncell had enabled Email to SMS for free for a brief moment, it is not free now. As mentioned above, it would cost around Rs. 33 per month to enable this service.
